GCP DevOps / Platform Engineer (Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD)

Contract role in Edinburgh for a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and run scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The work focuses on Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (including reusable modules and governance/policy-as-code), building self-service platform capabilities, and operating cloud-native services (GKE, Cloud Run/Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC/IAM, Monitoring). You will also build/optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Harness), drive GitOps and progressive delivery, implement observability (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/OpenTelemetry), embed DevSecOps controls into pipelines, and support API platform enablement (Apigee) with strong operational excellence (incident/RCA, runbooks, reliability and cost optimization).

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and reusable infrastructure modules.
