Epic Owner (Financial Markets Regulatory Change)
Contract Epic Owner to support the Head of Change by owning end-to-end delivery of regulatory/policy change epics in a Financial Markets (FM) regulatory & compliance portfolio. The role requires strong business analysis (impact analysis, requirements, solution blueprint, stakeholder sign-off), prioritization and agile delivery in an international self-steering team. You are part of an international self-steering team to deliver epics in an Agile Way of Working and in accordance with the orange code

You take full accountability of the deliverables you are responsible for, including on-time and quality delivery

thorough understanding of regulatory and/or policy changes

thorough impact analysis to determine business and process impact due to the changes

coming up with solution blueprint and clear approach for solution implementation

providing standard, scalable and creative solutions to ensure these solutions contribute towards enhancing client experience and regulatory compliance

documentation of the requirements, impact analysis and solution blueprint and arrange sign off from all stakeholders that are involved in the change

providing requirements for involved squads for implementation of changes

estimating BAU impact in terms of capacity and knowledge with the Process managers

following agile way of working and adhere to team stand-ups, refinement and planning sessions

setting clear priorities in the Epic delivery

Essential
Required Qualifications
Financial Markets (FM) regulatory change delivery (epics/projects)
Business analysis: impact analysis, requirements documentation, stakeholder sign-off
Advanced knowledge of FM regulations (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR)
KYC regulation knowledge
FM product knowledge (e.g., derivatives, bonds) and related regulatory requirements
Experience in financial sector (minimum 8 years)
Agile way of working (stand-ups, refinement, planning)
Solution blueprinting and implementation approach definition
Prioritization and end-to-end epic delivery accountability
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Ability to provide clear status updates, manage impediments, and create/align roadmaps
Excel and PowerPoint (advanced enough to structure and present analysis)
Preferred
Nice to Have
Experience working with financial institutions such as brokers, CCPs, trading venues
Experience estimating BAU impact (capacity/knowledge) with process managers
Experience facilitating decision-making across multiple stakeholders in international organizations
Experience delivering standard/scalable solutions that enhance client experience while ensuring compliance
