Embedded C/C++ Software Engineer (Connectivity & Security) - Medical Device
Contract role for a mid-to-senior Embedded C/C++ engineer to implement connectivity and security features for a next-generation medical device. You will support component design, implement software components and unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure compliance with formal product/software requirements and coding standards. The environment includes QNX and Wind River Linux, Boost/STL, and a modern build pipeline (CMake, Conan, Docker, Git, Azure DevOps) with static/security analysis tools (Black Duck, Axivion, Fortify). Knowledge of networking (REST, ZeroMQ, DDS), wireless (WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC/UWB), and security primitives (crypto, X.509, hashing) is required; medical engineering is preferred, with automotive/aerospace as alternatives. English is the main working language; German is a plus.
