Electrical & Piping Installation Engineer (Industrial Automation/Machine Installation)
Contract role in Bengaluru for a 5–10 years experienced installation professional who can execute both electrical and industrial piping scope for automation/machine installations. The person will read E-plan/electrical schematics and 2D piping drawings, plan and perform cable tray/routing/laying, termination (tagging/ferruling/dressing), I/O checking and signal verification, and troubleshoot electrical faults across machines/panels/sensors. In parallel, they will fabricate and install piping (cutting/threading/chamfering), assemble fittings/valves/hoses, and perform leak/pressure testing, coordinating with mechanical and automation teams while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Plan and execute cable tray installation, cable routing, and cable laying.

Handle AC/DC power cables, communication cables, and robot cables.

Perform cable termination, tagging, ferruling, and proper cable dressing.

Conduct I/O checking and signal verification for automation equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, panels, sensors, and automation systems.

Coordinate with automation and mechanical teams during installation and commissioning.

Ensure electrical installations comply with safety and quality standards.

Read and interpret 2D piping layouts and drawings.

Identify and select appropriate piping materials, fittings, and accessories.

Required Qualifications
Read and interpret E-plan drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams
Industrial electrical installation and wiring
Cable tray installation, cable routing, and cable laying
Cable termination, tagging, ferruling, and cable dressing
Handling AC/DC power cables, communication cables, and robot cables
Automation equipment understanding and I/O checking/signal verification
Electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding (machines, panels, sensors, automation systems)
Read and interpret 2D piping layouts/drawings
Industrial piping installation (pipes, fittings, valves, flexible hoses)
Piping fabrication basics (cutting, threading, chamfering)
Leak testing and pressure testing of piping systems
Electrical and piping safety practices
