EDI/B2B Integration Consultant (Axway TSIM & SAP PO/CPI)

Contract role in Stuttgart for a senior EDI/B2B integration specialist (5–10 years) to design, implement, and support automotive EDI integrations. The consultant will work hands-on with Axway TSIM plus SAP PO/PI and SAP Integration Suite (CPI/CI), covering mapping, partner onboarding, monitoring, incident/problem management, and root-cause analysis. Strong knowledge of EDIFACT/ANSI X12/VDA/Odette, common automotive messages (DELFOR/DELJIT/DESADV/INVOIC/ORDERS), multiple data formats (IDOC/XML/JSON/CSV/XSLT), and protocols (AS2/OFTP2/SFTP/HTTPS/SOAP/REST) is required, along with solid SAP process understanding (MM/SD/Logistics/Finance) and business-fluent German.

Develop, support, and optimize EDI mappings and interfaces.

Monitor EDI message flows and resolve production issues.

Configure and support trading partner onboarding and communication setups.

Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.

Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, and solution designs.

Conduct testing, partner certification, go-live, and production support activities.

Participating in or leading EDI and integration projects.

Collaborate with business teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners throughout project delivery.

Experience with SAP PO/PI and SAP Integration Suite (CPI/CI).

Knowledge of API-led and hybrid integration architectures.

Automotive industry experience and knowledge of supplier integrations.

Required Qualifications

5+ years EDI/B2B integration and support

Axway TSIM (Trading Partner Integration/TSIM) hands-on

SAP PO/PI (Process Orchestration/Process Integration)

SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI (Cloud Integration)

EDI standards: EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA, Odette

Automotive EDI messages: DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV, INVOIC, ORDERS

EDI mapping and transformation (mapping technologies)

Structured data formats: XML, XSLT, IDOC, JSON, CSV

Communication protocols: AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST APIs

SAP business process understanding: MM, SD, Logistics, Finance; ERP integrations

Monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, problem management, root cause analysis

Trading partner onboarding and communication setup

API-led and hybrid integration architectures

Automotive industry experience (supplier integrations)

Experience in international IT projects

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

German language: business fluent / negotiation level
