Distributed Services Engineer (Active Directory / DDI / Remote Access)
Hybrid contract role in Barcelona (2 days onsite) for a Distributed Services Engineer supporting EMEA in a 24x7 secure production environment. The engineer will design, build and run directory and distributed services including Active Directory (multi-forest/trusts), DNS/DHCP/DDI, NPS/RADIUS and Certificate Authorities, plus support remote access platforms (VPN gateways, Citrix). Responsibilities include ticket ownership in ServiceNow with SLA adherence, change/patching/vulnerability remediation, security hardening and audit follow-up, and automation via scripting. On-call rotation (24x7x365) is required, with future evolution toward cloud AD and identity management.

Required Qualifications
Active Directory engineering/administration in complex environments (multiple forests, trusts)
Active Directory migration and convergence
DNS (internal and external) and domain registration concepts
DHCP
NPS and RADIUS
Microsoft Certificate Services / Certificate Authorities (PKI)
Issue triage and escalation in a 24x7 secure production environment
ServiceNow ticket handling with SLA ownership
Change and Problem Management (deploying changes, patching, vulnerability remediation)
Security hardening/audits and remediation follow-up (including pen test follow-up)
Scripting/automation to standardize environments
Availability for 24x7x365 on-call rotation
Fluent English
