Digital Accessibility Project Manager (IT Systems)

Contract role based in Nantes (occasional remote) within a team dedicated to digital accessibility. The consultant will drive awareness and adoption of accessibility practices, provide pre-support and operational guidance to product/IT teams, assess compliance against accessibility standards (RGAA/RAWeb/RAAM/RAPDF), follow up audits and publications, help deploy accessibility tools, and produce documentation (guides, manuals). Strong knowledge of accessibility regulations/standards, ability to read/analyze HTML/CSS/JavaScript, hands-on use of audit tools (Wave, Axe DevTools, Fruggr), and comfort with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation) are required, along with strong facilitation and pedagogical skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing.

Pre-support: Help teams get started on accessibility (inventory, identification of training, methodology, regulatory obligations, standards, tools).

Operational support: Advise and support teams in the implementation of accessibility, sharing best practices.

Compliance analysis: Assess the compliance of digital services with standards (RGAA, RAWeb, RAAM, RAPDF).

Cross-functional collaboration: Participate in joint projects and ensure the follow-up of audits and publications.

Deployment of tools: Support the implementation of tools dedicated to accessibility.

Documentation production: Write guides, information materials and user manuals.

Mastery of the challenges of digital accessibility, regulations and standards.

Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (reading and analysis).

Experience in accessibility analysis and use of control tools (Wave, AxeDevTools, Fruggr, etc.).

Comfortable with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, etc.).

Excellent interpersonal, pedagogical and facilitation skills.

Required Qualifications

Digital accessibility expertise (challenges, regulations, standards)

Accessibility compliance analysis/auditing against standards (RGAA, RAWeb, RAAM, RAPDF)

Ability to read and analyze HTML

Ability to read and analyze CSS

Ability to read and analyze JavaScript

Use of accessibility testing/control tools (e.g., WAVE, Axe DevTools, Fruggr)

Comfort with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, etc.)

Facilitation/pedagogical skills to raise awareness and train/support teams

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Autonomy and ability to propose solutions and popularize technical concepts
