Detailed Engineering (Mechanical) – Solar PV (EPC/Owner’s Engineer)
Contract role in Bangalore for a 5–8 years mechanical detailed-engineering professional to provide independent technical review/approval and EPC oversight for Solar PV projects. Required Qualifications
STAAD.Pro
Module Mounting Structure (MMS) design/review (fixed tilt and tracker)
Solar PV plant engineering and construction exposure (plant layout, foundations, mechanical structures)
EPC project experience (engineering/procurement/construction oversight)
FAT procedures (hands-on)
Vendor inspections and technical approvals
Design calculation verification (wind load, seismic, dead loads)
Foundation design review (pile/RCC/MMS systems)
BOQ analysis
Knowledge of IS Codes and IEC standards
Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and test reports
Preferred

Owner’s Engineer experience
Lender’s Engineer experience
Review of vendor Technical Evaluation Reports (TER)
Compliance validation for Modules/PCS/Inverters/Transformers/BESS containers
Earthing and lightning protection understanding (as part of plant engineering)
Pooling substation and power evacuation layout familiarity
Survey drawings/topography interpretation
Strong coordination with OEMs/EPCs/internal teams
