Detailed Engineering (Civil) – Renewable (Solar PV & Wind) EPC Technical Review
Contract role in Bangalore for a Civil Engineering professional (5–8 years) to act as an independent technical review/approval authority for Solar PV and Wind power plant projects. The engineer will review and approve EPC detailed engineering deliverables (layouts, GA drawings, methodologies), validate BOQs and clash/coordination outputs, review site studies (topo/hydro/geotech/pull-out tests), support site teams with clarifications, and assist QA/QC with inspections and compliance checks to IEC/ISO/IS/Eurocodes.

Essential
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Detailed engineering review/approval of EPC deliverables for Solar PV and/or Wind power projects
Geotechnical review (including pull-out tests)
Hydrologic study review
Topography/survey drawing review
Knowledge of IEC standards
Knowledge of IS (Indian Standards)
Knowledge of Eurocodes
Civil & structural systems for renewable plants (foundations, structural elements)
Plant layout/GA drawing review (solar array/wind turbine layout/substations/pooling stations/buildings)
Roads and pavements design/review
Drainage system design/review
Trenches for MV electrical cabling (civil scope)
Clash reports and coordination drawings review
BOQ validation and basic Excel-based BOQ analysis
Construction methodology / installation principles review
Construction assurance / EPC oversight support
QA/QC support for inspections (foundation inspection, layout verification, compliance checks)
Preferred

Working experience of PVsyst layouts
In-depth knowledge of renewable power plant design practices
Understanding of EPC workflows and stage-gate engineering approvals
Experience with earthing and lightning protection civil interfaces (as part of Solar PV scope)
Exposure to pooling substation and power evacuation civil works
