DB2 UDB Database Administrator (DBA)

Performing initial checks for common issues (e.g., login failures, minor connectivity problems).

Restart DB2 services or instances as per SOPs.

Responsibility for installation of DB2 client and other DB2 related products.

Monitor DB2 database health using predefined tools and dashboards.

Respond to alerts related to performance, space utilization, and connectivity.

Proven experience in SQL (knowledge of DDL, DML) especially in the database administration and management.

Experience UNIX and supporting DB2 on UNIX, UNIX shell and awk scripting and Windows.

Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions is preferred.

Adhere to ITIL processes and ability to work in PROD, DEV, TEST and QA environments.
