Data Privacy & Data Protection Compliance Lead (Client Advisory)
Senior data privacy/data protection professional (10+ years) to advise clients on privacy compliance. The role focuses on developing data protection policies and procedures, performing privacy/risk assessments and DPIAs, monitoring data processing for compliance, and designing privacy/security frameworks, processes, and controls aligned to applicable laws (notably India’s Personal Data Protection Bill/DPDP context). Develop data protection policies and procedures in accordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients

Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and develop mitigation strategies for clients as per their requirements

Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as per client requirement

Provide guidance and support to the clients on conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), conducting risk assessments, data governance, application, privacy impact assessments.

Design and build security / privacy framework, design/re-design processes, and privacy controls to ensure framework development for clients

Essential
Required Qualifications
10+ years experience in data protection or privacy compliance
Developing data protection policies and procedures
Conducting privacy/data protection risk assessments and defining mitigation strategies
Monitoring/evaluating data processing activities for compliance
Conducting/assisting with DPIAs/PIAs (data protection impact assessments / privacy impact assessments)
Designing privacy/security frameworks, processes, and privacy controls
Knowledge of Indian data protection law/regulation (Personal Data Protection Bill / DPDP context)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or related field
