Data & AI Product Owner – Manufacturing
Contract Data & AI Product Owner to define and advance manufacturing data/analytics and AI product capabilities. The role translates manufacturing (IT/OT) needs into product roadmaps, requirements and backlogs, partners closely with delivery/architecture/data/OT teams, and drives POCs and vendor/COTS evaluations. Strong understanding of Manufacturing operations, ideally pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing, with exposure to GxP environments

Experience defining product capabilities, roadmaps, requirements, backlogs and priorities, and working closely with technical/delivery teams through execution

Ability to drive POCs and capability evaluations for new digital, data and AI opportunities — defining use cases, requirements, evaluation criteria and recommendations

Experience supporting build-vs-buy decisions and COTS/vendor evaluations, ensuring technology choices are grounded in business needs and fit the broader product strategy

Good understanding of data, analytics, AI, IoT and digital manufacturing technologies, with the ability to work effectively across product, architecture, data engineering, OT and application teams

Strong structured problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently drive initiatives across multiple teams

Essential
Required Qualifications
Product Owner / Product Management experience for digital, data, analytics or AI products
Manufacturing operations understanding
Manufacturing analytics knowledge (process/time-series data, equipment data, operational events, runtime/downtime, throughput, performance metrics)
IT/OT data understanding and digital manufacturing context
MES and ERP/SAP landscape understanding and integration concepts
Product capability definition (roadmaps, requirements, backlog, prioritization)
Working closely with technical/delivery teams through execution
POC / capability evaluation (use cases, requirements, evaluation criteria, recommendations)
Build-vs-buy decision support and COTS/vendor evaluation
Cross-functional collaboration across product, architecture, data engineering, OT and application teams
Structured problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management
8–12+ years overall experience with strong PO/PM background
