D365 BI Domain Lead (Demand & Backlog Owner)
Contract role in Södertälje/Stockholm (hybrid 2–4 days/week on-site) for an experienced BI/analytics professional to lead BI demand and reporting across a Dynamics 365 transformation program. You will be the main BI contact for D365 workstreams (Sales, Service, Order-to-Delivery, Finance & Procurement), shaping and translating business needs into structured BI requirements, prioritizing and owning a consolidated BI backlog, and recommending solution direction across D365 and the Microsoft analytics ecosystem (Power BI/Microsoft Fabric). Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing.

Establish a consistent way of working for identifying, understanding, shaping, and prioritizing BI and reporting needs.
Act as the main BI contact for D365 stream leads and relevant business stakeholders.
Facilitate structured discussions and workshops to identify current, emerging, and overlooked BI/reporting needs.
Translate business needs into clear and structured BI requirements suitable for assessment and prioritization.
Own and maintain the consolidated D365 BI backlog, including priorities and initial solution direction.
Assess and recommend where and how BI needs should be addressed across D365, Microsoft analytics, or other relevant Scania solutions.
Collaborate with Domain Leads, Product Owners, architects, and central IT experts to validate solution directions and dependencies.
Challenge assumptions constructively and guide stakeholders toward appropriate BI and reporting solutions.
Prepare prioritized requirements for handover to detailed design and implementation.
Establish the structure, documentation, and ways of working required for transition to the permanent Domain Lead organization.

Essential
Required Qualifications
Business Intelligence (BI), reporting, and analytics experience
BI demand management: intake, requirements shaping, prioritization, backlog ownership
Ability to translate business needs into structured BI requirements and solution recommendations
Stakeholder management across business, architecture, and IT; strong communication skills
Facilitation skills (workshops, structured discussions)
Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a transformation/implementation context
Understanding of Microsoft data & analytics ecosystem (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric)
Understanding of enterprise IT and solution landscapes; ability to navigate technical alternatives without being hands-on developer
Fluent English
Preferred
Nice to Have
Experience specifically in major D365 transformation/implementation programs (explicitly strongly preferred)
Conversational analytics exposure (within D365 landscape)
Experience establishing documentation/ways of working for transition to a permanent domain organization
Experience working with stakeholders at different BI maturity levels
