Business Architect – Shopfloor IT / Production Execution (VEIS)
Contract assignment in Sweden for an experienced Business Architect focused on Shopfloor IT / Production Execution (VEIS) to support a global production-system transformation. We are looking for an experienced Business Architect – Shopfloor IT (VEIS) to support the ongoing transformation of the clients global production system.

Within VEIS (Shopfloor IT), the focus is on developing efficient, transparent, and data-driven ways of working supported by modern IT solutions that connect people, processes, and equipment and enable real-time decision-making.

The assignment requires a strong end-to-end perspective and the ability to connect different business areas, initiatives, and stakeholder perspectives. You will balance short-term business needs with long-term architecture and strategic development within Shopfloor IT and Production Execution.

You will work closely with the business, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Process Owners, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives, IT initiatives, and the clients target architecture.

Own and further develop the Business Architecture within Shopfloor IT / Production Execution.

Translate business needs into sustainable processes, information flows, architectural direction, and IT solutions.

Identify and drive improvement and development opportunities across business processes, information flows, and IT support.

Ensure alignment between business objectives, IT initiatives, and the clients target architecture.

Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Process Owners, and other key stakeholders.

Contribute to and provide direction for the portfolio of initiatives within the assigned area.

Stakeholder management across business and IT

Process modelling / business process understanding
Production Execution / Shopfloor IT context
Information flows / value flows understanding
Analysis skills (discovery, gap analysis, pre-studies)
Facilitation of workshops/discussions and decision-making
Ability to visualize and communicate complex processes/dependencies
Understanding of IT terminology and IT environments
