Required Qualifications
Energy sector experience
Business analysis / functional analysis in a data-intensive environment
Hands-on SQL (joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries, anomaly detection)
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, data rules, mappings and acceptance criteria
Strong analytical skills
Production incident investigation and root cause analysis
Understanding of end-to-end data flows, batch processing, dependencies and failure scenarios
Testing and validation (functional test scenarios, test data preparation, execution using SQL/system checks)
Data quality controls and reconciliation
Agile delivery/support ways of working
English professional proficiency
Fluent in either Dutch or French (and fluent English)

Exposure to invoicing processes
Utilities/energy domain knowledge: metering, allocation, market data, forecasting, balancing
Belgian energy market stakeholders knowledge (Atrias, Fluvius, Elia)
AWS data services (S3, Athena)
Databricks (datasets, checks, job monitoring, workflows)
Azure DevOps (or similar backlog/incident tracking)
Data platform concepts (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, orchestration, lineage, monitoring)
