Azure Data & DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps, Data Pipelines)
Contract role in Groningen for an Azure Data & DevOps Engineer to build and operate Azure-based data pipelines and storage (Blob/Data Lake/SQL) and to set up/manage the Azure DevOps environment within an Agile/Scrum Data Management & Platform team. The engineer will productionize models/information products, coordinate with architects/data scientists/analysts and external parties (incl. Dictu), and align data exchange and information security. AZ-400 certification is required; strong SQL and Python are expected, with Databricks and container/CI tooling as preferred.

Processing large data volumes, various data formats, and data preprocessing

Setting up data pipelines in Azure blob storage, data lake, SQL databases, or other storage forms

Taking care of the setup and management of the Azure DevOps environment

Ensuring that models and information products go into production in a structured manner

Setting up data exchange from Azure with the environment, in collaboration with Dictu

Coordinating with the Azure architect, data scientist, data analysts, and internal and external parties

Aligning data exchange with the environment and setting up information security

Aligning information product frameworks with data scientists

Working within the Data Management & Platform team of the Information Provision department

Developing and managing IMG's data platform and supporting the organization in all aspects of data management

Collecting data and performing analyses for clients within the IMG organization
