Azure Cloud Operations / Platform Engineer (AKS, IaC)
Contract role in Amsterdam for an experienced Azure cloud operations/platform engineer to support an Azure transformation. The engineer will deploy, manage and troubleshoot Azure IaaS/PaaS resources and AKS, use IaC (Bicep/ARM), automate tasks with PowerShell/Bash, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and configure Azure monitoring/alerting for application-level insights. The role includes incident/problem management with on-call for P1s, Agile/Scrum participation, strong Entra ID knowledge, documentation, and alignment with compliance standards (ISO/NIST/CIS/BIO). Dutch is required with sufficient English; Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator is expected.

Required Qualifications
Azure cloud administration (IaaS/PaaS) deployment, management, and troubleshooting
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) operations and troubleshooting
Azure Container Registry (ACR)
Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and ARM templates
Automation/scripting with PowerShell and Bash
CI/CD pipeline maintenance (tool not specified)
Incident and problem management for Azure cloud (including P1 on-call)
Azure Monitor configuration (monitoring, dashboards, alerting) and cloud-native monitoring for app insights
OS-level troubleshooting (defects, patching) on cloud workloads
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) knowledge
Agile/Scrum ways of working and ceremonies
Documentation of infrastructure changes and operational procedures
Dutch language with sufficient English skills
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
