Automotive HVAC Calibration & Validation Engineer (EV Passenger Vehicles)
Permanent role based in Pune for a 2–4 years experienced engineer to calibrate and validate passenger EV HVAC/FATC systems. The position focuses on vehicle/bench/buck testing, HVAC controls and ECU integration, CAN/LIN diagnostics and data logging, DTC/fault-code analysis, and structured troubleshooting with root-cause analysis. Perform calibration of FATC systems and optimize HVAC performance.

Benchmark competitor HVAC/FATC features and identify emerging industry trends.

Evaluate and recommend new HVAC technologies and features for future vehicle programs.

Conduct HVAC system testing at component, bench, buck, and vehicle levels.

Analyze test data and recommend design improvements to achieve performance targets.

Coordinate with stakeholders for HVAC issue resolution and troubleshooting.

Lead root cause analysis activities and support software improvements.

Monitor, analyze, and resolve HVAC-related DTCs and fault codes.

Develop and improve FATC control strategies, work instructions, and engineering guidelines.

FATC (Fully Automatic Temperature Control) calibration/controls
HVAC validation & testing (component/bench/buck/vehicle)
HVAC troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
DTC/error code analysis for HVAC-related faults
CAN communication fundamentals and tooling exposure
LIN communication fundamentals and tooling exposure
Data logging and test data analysis
Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture
ECU integration basics (HVAC controls integration)
Embedded software understanding (integration/controls context)
Automotive vehicle testing & validation experience
