Automotive BIW Packaging & Feasibility Engineer (CATIA)

Create concepts and new proposals from CAS data for Underbody and Upperbody engineering.

Conduct feasibility studies for styling surfaces considering packaging, assembly, and manufacturing requirements.

Develop master sections for body engineering aggregates.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve packaging and design issues.

Work with Technical Services and Production Engineering teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility.

Benchmark industry solutions and recommend best engineering practices.

Provide styling feedback based on engineering feasibility and regulations.

Hands-on experience in CATIA for BIW design, surface modeling, and solid modeling.

Strong knowledge of CATIA packaging tools and DMU checking.

Good understanding of sheet metal design and formability.

Exposure to DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DVA, and GD&T.
