Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing.

Administer and optimize Atlassian Cloud (JIRA, Confluence, JSM) instances, including users, groups, permissions, schemes, and global configurations.

Design, implement, and maintain JIRA workflows, screens, field configurations, issue types, and custom fields to meet business requirements.

Manage Confluence spaces, pages, permissions, templates, and lifecycle; coordinate with documentation teams.

Manage add-ons and marketplace apps; oversee app configurations, licensing, and lifecycle.

Migrate, bulk update, and tidy up projects, workflows, and permissions to ensure consistency and compliance.

Collaborate with Product, IT, and Security teams to enforce governance, security, and data privacy standards.

Monitor performance, run regular health checks, and implement optimization and backup strategies.

Provide day-to-day administration, support, and training for end-users and project administrators.

Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian Cloud JIRA, Confluence, and JSM.

Deep knowledge of JIRA Cloud administration, workflows, permissions, schemes, automation, and reporting.

Experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Core in Cloud; strong Confluence administration experience.

Jira schemes and global configuration (permission schemes, notification schemes, issue type schemes, etc.)

Confluence administration (spaces, permissions, templates, page lifecycle)

Marketplace app/add-on administration (configuration, licensing, lifecycle)

Bulk updates/migrations/tidy-up of projects, workflows, permissions for consistency/compliance

Governance, security, and data privacy collaboration with IT/Security teams

Monitoring/performance health checks and optimization strategies

End-user and project admin support/training

Documentation/SOP creation and maintenance

Atlassian Access familiarity including SAML/SSO concepts

Problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management
