Application Responsible / Application Manager (Java, Oracle, Operations)
Contract role in Zurich for an Application Responsible/Application Manager with strong system architecture understanding and hands-on ownership of a business-critical Java application. The person will ensure end-to-end stability and evolution across operations (incidents/changes), performance optimization, and coordination with infrastructure and architecture teams, acting as the key interface between business and IT. Strong Oracle DB/SQL skills are required; Actico Rules/Business Rules Engine experience is highly desirable, and banking/financial services exposure is preferred.

Application ownership / application management (end-to-end responsibility)
System architecture fundamentals (ability to work with architecture teams and understand application/infrastructure dependencies)
Java application operations/support (hands-on)
Oracle Database and SQL
Application operations (run/maintain/monitor)

Performance optimization / troubleshooting
Infrastructure coordination (working with infra teams on environments, deployments, capacity, etc.)
