AMR/AGV Robotics Application Engineering Lead (Manufacturing Plant)
Senior robotics/automation professional to lead on-site planning, deployment, commissioning and support of AMR/AGV/cobot and vision-system solutions in an engine manufacturing plant. The role requires strong understanding of AMR functional architecture and fleet management integration with plant IT, hands-on application engineering and site deployment, offline robot programming/simulation, and manufacturing/controls engineering knowledge (PLC/HMI/sensors/conveyors). Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing.
Every role at Ubique contributes directly to solving meaningful business challenges for our clients.
Coordinate with Customer & TCS offshore team for the planning to execution of multiple AMR programs in the site.
Work closely with identified OEM suppliers based out of US, Europe & India for the supply of AMR & associated systems like conveyors, sensors, alarm systems, Fleet Managing software etc. Track the overall project status.
To identify & propose the modifications / changes required in the existing line to adopt the AMR technology in the plant.
Work closely with Plant IT for integration of AMR Fleet manager to make it touchless.
Organize & Schedules weekly calls with Customer & TCS Offshore team
Support Installation / Commissioning and final handover at Customer site
To study the new opportunity across various areas within the plant & other customer sites in US (may need to visit other sites).
Provide technical support to customer technicians/ engineers after the successful deployment of AMRs like trouble shooting, snag rectification, re-routing the path etc.

Essential
Required Qualifications
Advanced robotics/automation knowledge: AMR, AGV, robots/cobots, vision systems
Ability to understand AMR system functional architecture
Hands-on application engineering plus development/deployment of AGVs/AMRs/cobots/vision systems at customer site
Experience with manufacturing use cases (e.g., auto-part loading, bin picking, fastening, palletizing, sorting)
Hands-on offline programming (OLP) using robotics simulation tools
Manufacturing engineering/process knowledge and continuous improvement mindset
Controls engineering / Plant IT systems knowledge for interfacing equipment with manufacturing systems
Integration of AMR fleet manager with plant IT (touchless integration)
Installation/commissioning and final handover support at site
Troubleshooting/support after deployment (snag rectification, re-routing paths)
Equipment/capital procurement and selection of associated systems (conveyors, sensors, PLC, HMI, alarms)
Coordination with customer, offshore team, and OEM suppliers; tracking project status
