AI Unix Engineer
Seeking a 6–10 years AI Unix Engineer to design, implement, and manage Unix platform solutions with strong hands-on across multiple Unix/Linux flavors (RHEL, SUSE, AIX, HP-UX, Ubuntu/CentOS), enterprise backup/recovery (Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik), and storage platforms (NetApp, Dell PowerStore, Everpure). The role also requires solid shell scripting, cloud exposure (preferably Azure; AWS/GCP acceptable), modern DevOps/CI/CD and SRE practices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), automation tooling (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform), virtualization (VMware/VxRail/RHEV), and awareness of AIOps/AI automation workflows including Agentic/Conversational AI and platforms like OpenShift AI/Kubeflow/Databricks/SageMaker.

Knowledge of RHEL 7/8, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, AIX, HP-UX and related technologies

Experience with multiple backup technologies – Commvault + Veeam + Rubrik.

Manage storage policies, schedules, retention and auxiliary copy operations in Commvault

Experience in Cloud Environments, with a preference for Azure, though AWS or Google Cloud knowledge is also valuable.

Proficiency in coding/scripting is essential, particularly Shell scripting.

Familiarity with modern DevOps / CI/CD and SRE principles/techniques is required.

Experience with Dockers/ Kubernetes/containers is necessary.

Experience with Ansible, Jenkins and terraform is necessary.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VCP, VMware, VxRail and/or RHEV.

Conceptual understanding of storage, Backup and recovery tools.

Experience with AI-driven IT operations (AIOps) tools and basic knowledge on Agentic AI, Conversational AI.

Required Qualifications
Unix/Linux administration across multiple flavors (RHEL 7/8, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, AIX, HP-UX)
Enterprise backup & recovery: Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik
Commvault administration (policies, schedules, retention, auxiliary copy operations)
Shell scripting
Cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS or Google Cloud acceptable)
DevOps/CI/CD and SRE principles/techniques
Containers: Docker and Kubernetes
Automation/IaC tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform
