4G/5G RAN Layer 2 (MAC/RLC/PDCP) C++ Engineer (Contract)
Contract role for a 4G/5G RAN Layer-2 engineer to design, develop, optimize, and debug MAC scheduling and L2 protocol features (MAC/RLC/PDCP) for LTE eNB and 5G NR gNB. The position requires strong C/C++ (plus Python), deep understanding of 3GPP specs and L2 behavior across FDD/TDD (HARQ timing, UL grants, DRX, QoS), and hands-on log/protocol analysis using tools like Wireshark/QCAT/Viavi/Ixia/Spirent. Work location is Bengaluru (Manyata) or Delhi NCR; BE/BTech required; Google Test is preferred.

Review and Mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence in the following PDCP/RLC/MAC layer development on various platforms and integrations with L1 and L3, OAM etc for high performance basestations

Ability to drive large scale 4G/5G L2 product development, sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom

Ability to communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders
